I rescued a stray cat a few weeks ago. Ive never had a cat and know nothing about them. Some of the things she does freaks me out.

i've done the same thing - fished mine out of the canal - he has some really strange behaviour (e.g. drinking out of the toilet (!!!))

There are about sixty articles about cats at www.littlebigcat.com. Some are on behavior, others on diet, diseases, vaccinations, etc. So that site may have something pertinent for you.

If you were more explicit about the "freaky" behaviors people would be able to give you more precise information from their experience with cats.

Try 'kitten adoption dublin' - lots of useful info there. There are also many books about feline behaviour. Good luck with your cat.
