Hi,

Yes, synthetic extensions should be washed with products specifically formulated for synthetic hair extensions.
Human hair extensions should be washed with products designed for chemically treated hair.

I have clip in hair extensions They are human hair though and i wash my hair with them in, but every so often i take them out and do treatment on my hair then put them back in.

If they are clip in then you would usually have to take them out. It wouldn't harm to leave them in but you would probably find that they will fall out when you start washing you hair.

if the extensions are real hair u can wash them but if there horse hair you cant wash them at all so it is better to get the real hair extensions

Take them out wash dry and style your hair then get your extentions wash and dry them then style the extentions how you want i.e Curly them, straighten ect, then clip them in and go! xBx

its easier to take them out and wash them seperate! they tangle very easliy. Also when your washing them do not rub them with shampoo as if you would your own hair, smooth the shampoo down the hair extention or else they will be ruined.

A friend of mine has these and she takes them out. I think they can be washed, but it is easier to take them out.

it depends if you can wash the extensions? i have two sets and one set you cant wash, blow dry or straighten them but the other set you can. i take them out to wash its easier

i`m pretty sure you have to take them out, then wait for your hair to dry before putting them back in.

I KEEP MINE IN WASH MY HAIR N CURL IT IT 2 MUCH HASEL TAKING THEM OUT N U CN SLEEP IN THEM 2 :D
