You can use cottage cheese in place of ricotta in lasagna. Also, I have a cookbook where the author blends the cottage cheese to a creamy consistency and uses it in place of sour cream or other dairy products in recipes. I would never have thought of that, but it works pretty well! If you are using the low fat or fat free, it can save you calories as well as giving added protein.

I like to eat plain cottage cheese with a tablespoon of jam swirled in it, it's very creamy and delicious this way.

goes good with doritos. & tacos you can add salsa to it & use with other chips goes great in guacamole in a food processor u put avacado cottage cheese some jalapeno tomato or tomatillo a little garlic & green onion & mix it til creamy & there you go guacamole!

i like to use it in dips. add garlic pepper, tomatoes, and cilantro for a nice light dip for chips. you can also add taco seasoning for something a little spicier. either option is tasty.
