The hairstylist not just messed up the color of my hair by doing completely opposite of what I asked her, but when questioned confronted, she was rude, impolite, insulting. Made critical remarks of my previous highlights which were done beautifully.
She aslo called me aggressive personality, accused me of using cheap products, refused to answer any questions about her credentials in hair color techniques. misinformed me and used bleach instead of color. When I asked for refund, she said it was a scam. Refused to refund and offered to fix her mistake but it sounded threatening. She said she will do it for free and color my hair orange as it appreared to her " which I think is threatening. Also said she not understanding what I wanted was my mistake not hers. Kept insisting she gave me a great price where as price was not the factor to start with, it was the product line. Can I take her to court for mis-behaviour and cheating.

Sure. Take the stylist to small claims court. Not only did she make you leave unsatisfied, but she did the opposite of what her job is anyway and that is to pamper you. When you sat down in her chair you assumed that she was licensed and knew exactly what she was doing. You can surely file a claim for pain and suffering.

No because we have (Im a hair styles) Malpratice insurance. But im sure that they will just laugh at you if you tryed to because it is hair and it will grow back and my sugestions is to go to someone else. Were I work at you have to have a recept to get a refund and it has to be with in 7 days or else we cant do anything about it. does her salon have a policy like that. But when they ask you to fix it tell them you want someone else to do it. It might just look bracey and you just have to do a corective color on it.

I'm almost sure you can sue your stylist if you paid over $20 for the coloring. One of the amendments state that you have the right for a jury trial if the claim is for $20 or over. I'm not 100% sure, but just guessing.

Does she have a boss or is she on her own? Take it to her boss if she has one. Otherwise, chalk it up to experience and don't go back to her. This is too small a matter for the courts.

Of course you can if you have a good case, which it seems that you have. If you cannot resolve the problem amicably then maybe it would be an option
