You may need to think about this one...
What did Jesus do that most Christians do today, that was not commanded? I'll say it a different way: Can you think of any act that he did that Christians imitate but was not per se told to do? PLEASE give me the bible chapter to look up. I would say the keyword terms here are "most Christians" and not just a few.

He openly recited the "Lord's Prayer" in Matthew 6:9-13, (as a MODEL for our prayers.)

We weren't commanded to do this, we were commanded to pray "after this manner," or in this FASHION. (v. 9)

Repeating this prayer publicly actually constitutes disobedience to the previous verses, which tell us NOT to pray standing in the synagogues so that people will hear us. (vv.5,6) and NOT to vainly repeat words just to hear yourself speaking, because that's what heathen do. (vv. 7,8)
