Why do some (most) people answer questions about Jesus by quoting Paul, or Peter, or other authors in the Bible? (Are they afraid to quote Jesus' words.)
Why not Just quote Jesus' words to answer a question about;
1.who he is, or
2.what he wants us to do, or
3. How we can get to Heaven.
(I haven't counted them, but I would guess there are about 100 verses in the Bible that give exact quotes from Jesus himself.)

I think "I am a" - illustrates how we Christians come across when we don't stick to the actual words of Jesus.

Whoops _ someone just quoted John. And it happens to be one of my favorite ways of understanding people. But, it doesn't answer from Jesus . (of course, I agree with it, and it is about Jesus and other loving people.)

Joh 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life.(who He is) No one comes to the Father except through Me. (How we get to Heaven).
Joh 14:1 Do not let your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. (What He wants us to do)
Good enough?

Dear Uncle,
Yes, I fear Jesus because He is Almighty God. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom. If you would study your Bible, you would find that "ALL Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:" Inspiration means God-breathed. This means that every word in the Bible is the word of God. Take a look at Revelation 22:18, 19.

Jesus said I am the way, the truth and the life, no man comes to the Father but by me. -meaning you have to accept Him to see God, enter in the kingdom of God, and to know the truth of the world
Jesus said before he ascended up, to go into all the world and preach the gospel
Jesus said that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance. So once we repent meaning turn from our wicked ways, God will hear us and receive us.

Why would anyone be afraid of Him that recognizes Him as their Kinsman Redeemer, their Healer and Provider.. Those are His Old testament names too! Those that know they are evil and know that they are, should be very afraid. Revelation 14:9-11, Revelation 20, Revelation 22!

A miso what? you don't understand Jesus when you're fearful of him. My propose is to fulfill Him. Ask him who he's. you may not overlook with regard to the Abrahamic God and settle for Jesus...it really is not available. God isn't evil. you opt on to understand him. it really is my propose. i take advantage of to imagine that there grow to be a diverse God contained in the former testomony then contained in the recent testomony yet there is not. that is a similar God coming to you a diverse way. God can educate this to you in case you purely examine the Bible for the era of and gives you up arguing with what's written.

Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. (John 8:58)
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
(John 3:3)
I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
(Luke 13:3)
I and my father are one. (John 10:30)
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. (John 15:13)
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
(John 14:1-3)

Selective quotes are done to be used as a catalyst for showing that hate is ok, that they are right and you are wrong, and that if you don't do as they say or as the Bible says then your going to Hell.
Some loving religion, huh?
