First off, are your pictures more beautiful than the other millions of beautiful pictures the stock agencies are brimming with?

Not to say you can not sell them through stock, but you really need either a very large portfolio (thousands of pictures), or some unique pictures that aren't seen every day to make much money at stock photography.

There is a Photographer's Guide, like the Writer's Guide, with information on where and how to submit images to various agencies and publications.

You can have note cards or greeting cards printed yourself and sell them in your local area. You can hang prints in restaurants or galleries.

Good luck with your venture!

If you load your pics onto http://istockphotos.com/ then when people buy them off the site, you get a percentage of the money.

Photo Lines lets you in on the secrets including marketing your photos. I haven't tried it. I am not a photographer. However, you should check my source. Good luck!
