yes but unfortunately it takes 3 days. if you touch the surface with an open wound and with a wet area like a hand etc, you have a small risk of being exposed. Hepatitis c lives on the surface 7 days.

No. HIV is passed through body fluids. Even if you were to have a cut on your hand and put your hand on someone's blood that has it, you can become infected. This is why medical personnel wear rubber gloves when treating anyone.
