How can you say you have 'no closure' ... he 'disappeared' from your life and that is certainly all the 'closure' I'd need. You need to 'do something completely different' from anything you did 'with him' ... something where you are having lots of 'good fun' and there are lots of other people doing it too ... that way you'll be both 'distracted' from your 'pain' and you'll meet many 'new' people ... and perhaps your 'true love' will be one of them.

This is when you turn to your girlfriends. That's what they're there for. Every woman has been through something similar and they'll have some advice. Your best best is to give yourself time to grieve, find someone close to confide in, and after the initial shock has started to wear off, go out and enjoy yourself. Try not to obsess over a man who obviously isn't good enough for you and treat yourself to some girl-time. Get a few close friends together and go out for a night out on the town to celebrate your new-found freedom. A friend of mine was dumped the night before her wedding, so a bunch of us girls took her out to live it up and it worked wonders for her spirit.

just hang in there and give yourself some time, it won't happen overnight. be kind to yourself. call your friends, take yourself out to dinner, to the gym, to a spa, whatever you have to do to get him off your mind, but above all, DO NOT blame yourself. if he left you, he's the one with the issues, not you!
