In the Bible, there is the Father, the Son(Jesus) and the Holy Spirit. The Father is the creator of everything. Jesus was sent to the Earth to spread the message of Christianity, kinda of as a mediator between the Father and humans. Then eventually He was sacrificed on behalf of man kind. He is the salvation for all mankinds sins, since He was the only perfect man to ever walk the Earth. When you say prayers you pray to the Father but at the end of all prayers you say in Jesus name Amen because Jesus came to Earth on behalf of the Father. It may seem complicated, but it is all in the Bible. All the best.

THAT sounds like what the pharisees, etc, taunted Jesus with as
He was laying down His life for us to save us.
NOBODY took His Life!!
He said that it was for this hour that He had come into the world and He is the Son of God and the second Person of the Blessed Trinity.
He was willing to lay His life down as He KNEW that this was His
Father's will for Him.
He could have stopped it all. He could have come down from the cross and we ALL would have been condemned to hell.
End of story.
BUT HE DIDN'T.
He stayed on the cross and He arose triumphantly from the grave
and is seated at the right hand of His Father, forever victorious over satan and over the power of sin and death.
He bruised the head of the serpent, just as His Father, Almighty God had promised in the Garden of Eden right after the Fall.
In revelation, He said He has the keys of death and of hell.
In John, He said -- I AM THE RESURRECTION AND THE LIFE...
HE THAT BELIEVES ON ME, THOUGH HE WERE DEAD, YET SHALL HE LIVE, AND WHOEVER LIVES AND BELIEVES ON ME SHALL NEVER DIE!!

Yes, Roman soldiers were homosexual, so were the Greeks. But the problem is Jesus was never crucified, killed or resurrected. It was made up by the Roman and the corrupted Jews at that time. They(Roman and the Jews) did crucified a man, thinking him Jesus son of Mary but they were confused to identify Jesus instead they crucified another. The Holy Quran tells about it in chapter : 4, verse: 157, 157. And because of their(Jews) saying (in boast), "We killed Messiah 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), the Messenger of Allah," - but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but the resemblance of 'Iesa (Jesus) was put over another man (and they killed that man), and those who differ therein are full of doubts. They have no (certain) knowledge, they follow nothing but conjecture. For surely; they killed him not [i.e. 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary) ]: Allah(God) gives surety that they(Romans and the Jews) did not crucified or kill Jesus rather He raised him to Him, which is related in the next verse as follows: 158. But Allah raised him ['Iesa (Jesus)] up (with his body and soul) unto Himself (and he is in the heavens). And Allah is Ever All-Powerful, All-Wise. The very next verse predict about his(Jesus) second coming. How? As we know that the Jews do not consider him as Messiah or prophet but the verse 159 says otherwise, which is only possible if he comes again and the people of the Scripture( Jews and the Christian) believe him and accept him as their messiah. The Holy Quran goes like this: 159. And there is none of the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), but must believe in him ['Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), as only a Messenger of Allah and a human being], before his ['Iesa (Jesus) or a Jew's or a Christian's] death (at the time of the appearance of the angel of death). And on the Day of Resurrection, he ['Iesa (Jesus)] will be a witness against them. We Muslims love Jesus(pbuh) very much. We respect him and his mother very much. We are eagerly waiting for his second coming since this verse was revealed. InshaAllah(God's willing) he will be here withing 2050 C.E.

He rose from the dead after the Angel Gabriel pushed back the stone. Did you know that He rose on Easter Sunday? And yes, He is the true Son of God and is coming back someday. It may be tomorrow, so you'd better get yourself right with Him or risk eternal Hell and Damnation to the Everlasting Pit. Satan will be glad to have anybody he can to stay with him ALWAYS and ETERNITY.

Believing the stories, it was allowed to be done by Jesus and God so that His followers could get in to heaven. At any time Jesus and/or God could have stopped it, but the sacrifice is what was important. SO...to answer your question, it's because God wanted them to....if you believe the stories

Like all the other prophets, Jesus ('Isa) (as) is a chosen slave of Allah whom Allah assigned to summon people to the true path. However, Allah has given Jesus (as) some attributes distinguishing him from other prophets, the most important one being that he was raised up to Allah and that he will come back to earth again.
Contrary to what most people believe, Jesus (as) was not crucified and killed nor did he die for any other reason. The Qur'an tells us that they did not kill him and they did not crucify him and that Allah raised him up to Him. Furthermore, the Qur'an acquaints us with some events from the life of Jesus (as) which have not yet happened. Thus, his second coming to earth is a prerequisite for these events to happen. There is no doubt that the events related in the Qur'an will certainly happen.
In addition we are told in a great many reliable hadiths1 of the Prophet Muhammad (saas) that Jesus (as) is alive in the sight of Allah and will return to earth, and that when he does so he will rule with the Qur'an, be a means whereby the Christian world turns to Islam, and will, together with the Mahdi 2, make Islamic moral values prevail all over the world. Great Islamic scholars are in agreement that Jesus (as) did not die and will return to earth. Despite this, however, some people assume that Jesus (as) passed away some thousands of years ago and that thus it is unlikely that he will return. This is a misconception arising from lack of knowledge about the Qur'an and the hadith.
The Prophet Muhammad (saas) also told us that in the time when Jesus (as) will be sent back to earth, which is called 'the end of time', there will be a period in which the earth will attain unprecedented peace, justice and welfare.
The 'end times' refers to the period of time close to the end of the world. According to Islam, in this time, there will be the terrible trials of the Dajjal (Anti-Christ), many earthquakes and the emergence of Yajuj and Majuj (Gog and Magog) after which the ways of the Qur'an will prevail and people will extensively adhere to the values it teaches.
Evidence that Jesus (as) did not die, that he was raised to the presence of Allah and that he will return again will be examined in this book in the light of the Qur'anic verses, hadiths and Islamic scholars' interpretations. However, before proceeding, it would be beneficial to remind ourselves of some basic information directly related to this subject.

It wasn't permanent. He was taken down from the cross and entombed. He rose from the dead days later. This is when we celebrate Easter. Christ was put to death as a sacrifice for our sins. I am simplifying this, but basically God gave his only son for us.
