getting too heavy so became distant. Anyway I ended it because she had started to mess me around - cancelling dates, postponing and I was basically doing all the chasing so I thought cut my losses if she is not interested and end it. Anyway out of the blue about 4 months later gets back in touch and says she still likes me and wants to meet up. We meet and get on great as normal. I go to arrange another date and she says no problem but only wants to go out as friends doesn't want to see anyone - I'm confused what does she want - and what should I do. I have a couple of other offers but I do like this girl otherwise I would have told her to go jump straight away!!!

She likes the attention she gets from you, chasing her all the time. That's why she's got in touch after so long, she missed it.
My advice is to tell her to go jump now, she's messing you around big style.

Lucky you, maybe you were getting too intense with her and that can be very hard for someone to handle, some people do back off although it doesn't mean that they don't like you, try to take things slower if she is what you want as you say you only went out for a few months it is time that will tell. Tell her the way you feel. If shes not very forthcoming you need to move on. Just say you feel a bit confused and if she can be completely clear what she wants with you. It's horrible I know but if she don't wanna know theres nothing you can do to change her mind. And you might give one of the other girls a chance and realise how lovely she is!

sounds like she really insecure and was kinda seeing sum 1 wen she first met u the first time, u wer only a bak up and she got with this guy and thats wen uz didn;t talk, she got bak in touch now cos she gone thru her fone in a desperate search and got bk in touvh with you, this is wot i think anyway sounds familiar, mite be wrong, but if im rite neva settle 4 second best, not wen u avnt even been seeing her prply xx

It's called birds giving blokes the run around just because they love the attention and the thought of someone chasing them. Never mind that they might hurt that person's feelings or anything. It's not nice and not fair.
Resolve NEVER to contact her again and stick to it.

Brother, I swear your situation is identical to mine. I just cut things off with my chick because she started actin funny (e.g. not returning phone calls, going AWOL for days at a time, etc.) My situation also sucked because it is long distance. So, I cancelled her VDay gift and got over her. My advice to you is to be honest with yourself. You know you're not gonna be happy just being friends with this girl. That sh!t is only going to aggravate you. So, I say leave her be and get with the other girls who seem interested.

I'm sorry but she doesn't like you enough - if she cared they way you want her to, she would be hinting in that direction. However, she has been straight - its friends or nothing. She recognises that you get on really well but probably doesn't share your deeper feelings. If you do like her and want to be her friend then thats fine, otherwise, move on and find someone who does really want you.

you know what you should do you should just say goodbye to that girl because if she doesnt want anyone to see you to together then she must be hiding something. if you have other offers you should try them because seems to me that she is just dragging you along and no one needs that in there life. life is to short enjoy it have fun and try new things.

See the other girls too, don't wait around on her to make up her mind. If she wants you exclusivly she'll come around. It will also let her see how wanted you are.
