No negativity please. I'm a very big anime fan and I love kingdom hearts. (pretty much the best ps2 game ever). Anyway, do you think it's smart to get a keyblade as a tattoo or do you think I might regret it? For those of you who are clueless, click the link below to see the pic.

Oh hey thanks to everyone that responded. I like all the constructive criticism. As for anyone who calls me stupid for getting a tattoo in general, you're lame and should go worry about your ugly saggy a s s before coming at me with your lame unneeded insults.... but ANYWAY thanks to everyone one else. ^_____^

I think that it would make a good one. I myself have 9 tattoos and do not regret a single one. I thought long and hard about each one. Tattoos are something very personal to each of us. There will always be the folks that do not like them and will be rude and nasty to you for having them. When I get rude looks and comments on mine, all I say is "I am tired of you folks looking down on me because of the COLOR of my skin."

I do not regret my tattoo at all. I got the Chinese symbol for faith, and because it means so much to me, I haven't regretted it for a second. Placement also has something to do with whether or not you'll regret a tattoo, so keep that in mind. But I have several other tattoos planned out, all of them dealing with religion and faith, because that is something that is important in my life and that I hopefully will never regret. That's how I pick MY tattoos. I've often wondered how others can get tattoos that don't mean much to them but that they think will be 'cool' at the time, and the truth is that they oftentimes end up regretting them. Be careful to properly plan and give thought to any tattoo. Good luck!

I agree with most people here, if you really like it, then go for it. If this is your first tattoo, then I would suggest to have a temp tattoo done first to see how much you like it. I would also suggest to think of something you might have liked before when you were a little kid, and that now seems very stupid to you or makes no sense. Think how you would feel if you had a tattoo of that one thing on you. Would you hate it? If you think you would, then I don’t recommend you to get the tattoo as you might grow out of that particular object/idea, and then you would regret to have it.

You can also do like many suggested and have a small one done so it can be cover later if you want to. Don’t forget to put any tattoo in a good location that will not affect your ability to find a job. I myself have one on my leg, and I’m planning to have some more, but each will come in as the time is right.

i personally think that you should get it. the way i figure it is this... even if someday when you are older you decide that you don't like anime or that you just aren't crazy about the tattoo design itself, the tattoo is still symbolic of a certain time in your life when you DID enjoy that sort of thing. If you are really concerned about it though, get it somewhere that clothing can easily cover it and have it done small so there is a possibility of having it covered up with something else later on if that's what you decide. Good luck. If you get it done, I hope ya love it :)

Personally I don't have a tattoo because if I did get one done I would probably see another design I liked better a week later and then regret it! lol. I think you should do it if you really want to. The picture of the keyblade was ok. Just go to a good tattooist who has a clean shop and get the tattoo where you can't see it because some people don't like tattoos, for job reasons I mean.

I have many tattoos myself and I've found that getting something that is symbolic are always the best tattoos. Do not get something that you will grow out of no matter how much you say you never will. Everybody changes. If you insist on getting something that you will potentially regret in the future, make it small enough so you can cover it up easily with another tattoo or by laser removal.

Good luck !

If your not sure, wait a month or so, think about it some more. Also if your really dead set on getting it, maybe consider getting it in a spot that you can easily cover. I personally have 24 tattoo's, love each one. But none of them were done with out lots of thought and months of waiting. I have the next three already thought out..... You shouldnt let other people tell you if the one you want is smart or not, its your body, your choice.

I have one tatoo on my lower back. I am glad that I got mine, but I also did research before I got mine. (A sun since my Dad always called me sunshine) Anyway. I wanted to know what a tat would look like if I had more children and the place that they said that would not move or change was my lower back. So there you go. I say go for it, but keep in mind that you may need to hide it at times (for job interviews etc) and since I consider a tatoo a personal thing anyway something that you might only share with those you want to share it with. I just say give serious thought to where you want it, but it sounds like you really do want to get it, so go for it. (If you get it in a place that you can hide it easily you won't have to worry about it when you are 80!) Sounds silly, but I even thought about that!

I don't see anything wrong with a tattoo like that. However, if you are questioning whether or not you're going to regret it later then I would say give yourself more time. Don't get it until you are 100% sure.

I like how anytime you ask about a tattoo - it becomes an opinion board about tattoos and not the question that you asked. I would just make sure that it's something that you're going to like forever because they're on you forever. If you truly love the idea that you had...then go for it.... :)
