I'm a stay at home mom too, but I have a home-based business. I know how nerve-wracking it can be, worrying about whether something is legit. I got lucky, as my parents had already been in the biz for 6 years. The great thing about having a home based business is that everything becomes a tax write off. On top of the money you are making, you also get to SAVE money cuz you can write off your long distance, internet, suppies, cell phones, vehicle (if its over a certain weight), etc. Its awesome! Also, the benefits and training/support are awesome. Email me at starsalso@yahoo.com or instant message me at mrs.mama21@yahoo.com If you want to work your butt off and get rich, or just work to make a bit of extra money, this is the way to go.

I am also a stay at home mom with the similar problem - my solution was I found that in finding a pt evening weekend waitressing job, I am able to stay home with the kids, be a wife, and bring on average $175 a week by working just 6 or 7 hours 2 nights per week!
On the weekends I am at home all day long too for family bonding time.

The best advice I can offer is that if it sounds too good to be true, it definitely is.. don't pay to make money.

I'm a freelance web designer.. if you really apply yourself with learning HTML and Flash design you could make some pretty good supplemental income. Also, learning your way around Ebay can make you some good cash. You just need to find your niche. You really can't work at home without being internet savvy. Good luck on your quest!
