I say Yes. She is 3rd in-line for President. Previous speaker was allowed. Why not ?

The previous speaker was given a C-20, which is essentially a Lear Jet. The speaker's office is looking for a C-32, which is essentially a 757, as it would not need to refuel on flights to the West Coast. Speaker Hastert generally used the C-20 as he only had a 2 hour flight from Washington.
The President and Vice President have a 747. Given that they cost approximately $325 million each (when built ten years ago) I don't think she is going to get a 747 as the question asked.

She has actually said she does not mind commuting via commercial airline like she has been doing, but in her position there are serious security issues with that. The Speaker of the House generally does have a private plane assigned when they do not live in the DC area, just because of the security. The only reason she may be getting such a big plane is because she lives very far from DC, out of the range of the smaller jets.

Her demand for the C-32 (757-200) for security is total nonsense. It'll cost taxpayers $300,000 one way! She can easily use the C-20 (Gulfstream V), which is much cheaper. She doesn't need a whole 757 when a GV can be sufficient enough.

She does not deserve a dang thing as far as I am concerned. I do not want to spend my money on her getting luxury travel when I can barely afford my own travel.

she can ride coach like the average person, i dont want my tax dollars paying for someone to fly somewhere else on a private jet when they can fly coach and get there just as fast.
