What if a former Atheist is trying to learn and understand Christianity and then he dies "before he figures it out"?

Does he get damned to hell for this failure?

Do you think God will say: "Well...you were on the right path, so close, but not close enough. Get lost, Buh-bye!" ?

If yes, what can this seeker do to avoid going insane while still alive now that he knows your answer? That sounds like the ultimate frustration.

The doors are always open to all who seek to enter. Through our many corporeal existences we have unlimited chances to choose the correct path of moral and intellectual evolution.

The present status-quo of attributing God human qualities such as limited forgiveness, wrath and injustice, is false. There is nothing to fear in death. We are created to evolve to our highest, purest form, and in doing that, we are granted eternity to learn.

You cannot teach a child in one day, everything he/she needs to learn to be an adult, as in our spiritual evolution, we cannot learn everything we need to evolve in one fleeting corporeal life on this planet when compared to the vastness of eternity.

Does God reject the seekers who die prematurely?

NO ONE dies prematurely!

Please don't worry over this, God wants you to get there and you will as long as you keep trying. He will not lead you along and then when you are very close, strike you down and say opps, too slow. That is common behavior of satan, but never of our gracious Lord. I've prayed over this very often since being lead to Y Q&A. I have seen good and intelligent minds here who don't know Him. I feel He wants to know them, because they have so much to offer in His service. Sorry, maybe I got a lil preachy but I can't help it ;)

God knows who will believe and who will not already. There will be no almosts. you either believe or you don't. God tells us death is going to happen. There is no accidental death. God knows everyones appointed time. That's why God says that you should heed His words. Because you don't know when that time will be.

SS Steven, no one can pray for anothers salvation. Romans says, if you confess with your mouth. Not if someone else confesses for you.

I think God is fair and loves his children. So if he wants to save us then why would he send someone to Hell for trying to find out the truth. Only he knows.
Now if you died saying F...God, I don't know how lenient He'd be.
