. If he broke up with you he does not want a relationship with you. But if you feel he used you and then dumped you, then I would not consider him a friend. 2 months seems such a short time to even give the relationship a chance to grow, so he was just not interested. Move on and next time try to make better selections in who you date. Best of luck to you!

i was in the same situation before but in reverse roles.......i've never contacted the chick since and i think thats what you should do as well. Staying friends only prolongs any agony u have, ur better off cutting off all contact so u'll get over things quicker.

2 months is not too long but it can really hurt. it's up to you to stay friends with him or to stay away. if you wanna stay away, and become friends later, tell him you need some time to go back to friendship or change the way you treat him then he'll understand.
