Years ago I found a recipe for choc. chip cookies that had oatmeal and peanut butter in them as well. I have lost the recipe and it was on the back of a flour bag. Does anybody have this or a similar recipe?

Peanut Butter Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookie
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla (or more)
1 cup unbleached all-purpose flour
1/2 cup oatmeal
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 (12 ounce) bag semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350°.
Cream butter and sugars together. Add peanut butter, egg, and vanilla. And mix well.
In another bowl mix dry ingredients together and add to butter mixture.
Add chips and mix well.
Either drop onto pan or roll into small balls.
Bake for about 10-12 minutes.
Cool for 5 minutes on sheet.

1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar and white sugar. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the peanut butter, water and vanilla. Combine the flour and baking soda, stir into the creamed mixture. Finally, stir in the rolled oats and chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto an unprepared cookie sheet.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, until the cookies are lightly toasted on the edges. Remove from the baking sheet to cool on wire racks.

That's what I use in mine! I use the base recipe on the bag of chocolate chips, but decrease the flour a bit for the addition of oatmeal, and just add peanut butter. The oats allow for the addition of the fat. YUMMY! I'm at work and can't remember the exact recipe, but you really can't mess them up...the dough can be a pretty tough consistency and you'll still have a fantastic cookie.

1 tbsp. milk
2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. oats
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (12 oz.) pkg. Reese's peanut butter chips

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Mix brown sugar, butter, shortening, milk, vanilla and egg until well blended. Mix in remaining ingredients. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonsful about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake until light brown, 10 to 12 minutes for soft cookies, 12 to 14 minutes for crisp cookies

The real, the original, the authentic Nestle Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookies:

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

1 cup (2 sticks, 1/2 pound) butter, softened

3/4 cup granulated [white] sugar

3/4 cup packed brown sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 eggs

2 cups (12-ounce package) NESTLE TOLL HOUSE Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels

1 cup chopped nuts

COMBINE flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla in large mixer bowl. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition; gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.

BAKE in preheated 375-degree [Fahrenheit] oven for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.

PAN COOKIE VARIATION: PREPARE dough as above. Spread into greased 15"x10" jelly-roll pan. Bake in preheated 375-degree [Fahrenheit] oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool in pan on wire rack.

FOR HIGH ALTITUDE BAKING (>5,200 feet): INCREASE flour to 2 1/2 cups; add 2 teaspoonfuls water with flour; reduce both granulated sugar and brown sugar to 2/3 cup each. Bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit, drop cookies for 8 to 10 minutes and pan cookies for 17 to 19 minutes.

You've got 2 good recipes here so far. Make one of these and
you can do any of the following variations on these.

1. omit any nuts, add 4 C crisp ready to eat cereal

2. add 2 C. chopped dates

3. add 1 tablespoon grated orange rind

4. add 2 C raisins

5. add 1 C. peanut butter and/or 1 C. oatmeal
