I dye my hair every couple of months, but it is complelty straight. I've wanted a perm for as long as I can remember but I've always been too scared due to the fear of damaging it and breaking off. I really want this done, so if you can give any advice to repair it before perming, let me know.

I am a hair styles, You could have dyed you hair 2 weeks after you permed it. Dont beleve ppl that say you cant. But you should have them do a strand test (most salons do) to make sure you hair is strong enough to hold the perm. Perm are cute as long as you style it and not just pick it out and not put anything in it my fav. product is the aussie mousse, with a little bit of hair spray to make it crunchy. I like my hair and it has a perm in it. but it is not tight curls I used purple rods but it made a nice size curl. If you have any more questions just ask

You should NEVER perm you hair if you color it. Any good colorist will tell you that. Speaking from experience, I had waist length hair that was colored and I permed it. All my hair started breaking off and I had to have it all cut off. I was told not to and I did it anyway and my hair is still damaged after 2 years. I'd never do it again.

definite it is going to. I did that as quickly as a pair of years in the past I permed my hair approximately 3 weeks once I died it and it began falling no longer worry-free middle. in case you merely choose to straighten your hair merely get a straighting iron. you may get an outstanding one for form of twenty greenbacks. Get one that doesn't have have an exceptionally extensive head on it, no rely how lots hair you have the thin ones continually artwork extra effective.

Yaaaa, I agree with Aerbare, perms are a bad idea unless of coarse it is 1988. If you want curly just use some curlers, that way if you hate it it's not permanent.
