Do Dogs Lookup?

Well, my dog lays her head on her paws on the floor and rolls her eyes upwards as we walk by, so i would have to say, yes. I am not sure if they can tilt their heads back, though - I don't think they have the spines for that and I am fairly sure i haven't seen a dog do that.

You know i wondered that after I saw the movie too. My dog definitley looks up. I live near a casino and my dog moves his head following the spotlights they flash over the sky.

Yup, My dogs do all the time. At birds squirrels butterflies. My friend's dog chases planes in as their flying over his house!

Dogs do look up. Unless your dog is shy or nervous, he/she will look up at you.

I have noticed abused puppies have a difficult time looking up or into your eyes. It is a submissive behavior that they learn.

yes. gun dogs are trained to watch birds from when the gun goes off..they track the bird as it falls out the sky. They HAVE to look up for that.Besides if you are standing up and speak to your dog it looks up at you doesn't it??

Yes speak to one thats smaller than you and it will look at you which will involve looking up.
