same credit limit on a new credit card?

if I transfer a balance from an old card to a new one will my credit limit be matched up from the old one or will it start out low? thanks.

It depends. You might get more than you need, you might get so little it doesn't help. You just have to ask (and hope).

it depends on your credit score. If you have a great credit score, your limit could be very high from day one. apply...they will tell you what you are pre-approved for.
