I would love to have a few hours to my self. I have a 23 month old that acts like she 5. My husband(her daddy) works from 5am to 5pm. When he gets home he wants to relax. So he'll play with her for like an hour but the she wants mommy (me.)So yea I would like just a few hours I couldn't handle a whole 24 hours away from her.I'd miss her to much.Every stay at home mom or dad need a break sometimes. Taking care of a child is a real job.

24 hours! Even two to three hours would feel good once in a while. Take at least one whole day a month for yourself and your kids sake to, they need a break from us also.

I think even a couple hours is refreshing! I learned the hard way just how precious every moment we get to spend with our children is...my oldest son was killed in a car accident when he was just under 2 yrs old.
I do cherish every moment with all my kids, but that doesn't mean that I don't need a break....(like when I can't even go to the bathroom w/o my 19 mo under foot : ) Just last night I had a Girls Night Out for a few hours and it was just what the dr. ordered.
God Bless you and your family!

I do and they're teens now.
When they were younger every week or two I'd get a sitter and my husband and I went out and had fun. It was refreshing (unless I had a little too much fun) and it made the rest of the week so much better.
Everyone deserves a break, don't wait until you've had enough. You've earned a day to yourself, seize the moment, it will do wonders.

I would settle for one hour. When i get this feeling which is like every two days(especially with my 3yrd) I sit them down in front of movie.Lately they like pixar movies even movies like Charley and the chocolate factory.TVO is the greatest invention ever.Don't get me wrong i'm not saying let them sit in front of the tv all day. An hour and a half won't kill them and gives you just the right amount of time to relax and have you time=)

sure i think everyone does at times. i sometimes feel bad when i want a break. i stay at home with my two boys so i don't even have the time with peers at work. i try to at least have one night out with the girls a week. at least it is better then nothing and it also gives the boys time with their dad!
