I think you need to at least talk to a doctor about how it happened - does your diet need to be changed? If you know the cause - you can start treating it with over the counter products for now - but if it starts bleeding or becomes worse you definately need to see a doctor.
Don't eat anything spicy. Make sure you are drinking A LOT of fluid.

Its best to see your doctor if the pain becomes too much, there are plenty of over the counter remedies for hemorrhoids available at your local drug store. To get rid of them without embarrassment there are a few things you can do. 1. Expose the hemorrhoid to sunlight. 2. (i know this is gross) The best way to kill the pain and the roid itself its to poke it back up to where it came from if you get what I'm saying. other than that try ice and a product called witch hazel you can get it at supermarkets and drug stores...good luck!

Witch Hazel can be bought over the counter and its an astrigent. I think itll be by the rubbing alchol. It wont go away but use wipes instead of toilet paper, pat it dry after a shower, dont rub. Try not to wear g-strings (if you do). Keep it as dry as you can.

You have what is called a prolapsed hemorrhoid, which is an internal one that is so swollen, it pushes to the outside. Most do get better on their own and you have nothing to worry about. However, please see a doctor if you see blood either on your underwear or toilet paper. Bleeding hemorrhoids respond better to medical treatment than just time. Good luck!

my bf had hemorrhoids and when he had them i called ask a nurse. she said you basically have to keep it clean. so id suggest going to get some cream and stuff for it and put it on there. then she said sometimes it helps if you sit in a warm bath put some sort of towel or something soft to sit on in there and just sit on the towel in the bath and sit there for like 20 minutes like twice a day. that helped my bf alot

Go to the doc.
It's more common in young men than you think.
He will be able to prescribe medicine and confirm that's what it is.
Do not try to do anything to it yourself. The resulting infection alone could land you in the hospital.
