this girl is 18 and visiting from england we have talked alot since she has been here and like her alot then the other night it was wierd because we said hi both smiling but then it went a really long time before we both said anything then we talked for a little but then she went to get something and didnt come back then i went in there and she was actually thinking about me the whole time but then she was telling stories but we didnt really talk at all just a little but then right before i left she made a joke and laughed and the whole time i was there she smiled around me her unce had said that its a good thing i dont pay for shoes by inch because i would be in trouble and then she said the big feet joke with you know what they say about big feet, big socks and laughed we have had fun everytime we are together but i dont know what to think about the other night it was weird when i go there again what should i do

I think the only way you are really going to know is to ask. Sounds like you are both a little shy. That's okay. It might confuse people at times cuz you get mixed signals. Why not start by asking her to go to a movie or to the mall or to the museum or something? Ask her what she likes to do....or just invite her to go w/you. Inviting her might be a little less up front as far as your intentions. This shows interest but it could be a friendly thing. As you guys talk you can feel the situation out.
Silence is natural for two people who might be shy or nervous. When I am w/someone and the conversations isn't flowing....you just have to pull things out of the air....or something like that. You might have to work to get conversation flowing but hopefully if and when you find a topic that fits....maybe it will come a little more naturally then you might feel more comfortable. Both of you probably will!!

Well first off you never know is someone is "thinking" about you, so I wouldn't assume that. You never know what she's thinking when she was doing all these things, so I wouldn't assume they were for me. Sometimes people smile just to be friendly. Try to talk to her and see her reaction. ye smiled, then she left, you found her, she smiled, you dont pay for shoes, her uncle thinks this is good. Honestly i am confused i dont really get what your on about i have no idea what she's thinking. I dont know why you dont pay for shoes' do you steal other people's shoe's? Why is her uncle happy??
