You cannot receive your "Criminal History" from the police! Federal law prohibits the dissemination of this information through the local police.
However, they CAN provide you with the name of the State Agency that DOES provide you the information which is normally about $25-35.00.
My particular state agency is known as ACJIS which will require proof of your identification!

You are able to go to your local police dept and request the report. Like someone said...you do have to pay a fee for it. The local record checks only check that jurisdiction. So if you need something for the state you must go to the state police and request one from them. It's from $15.00 to $25.00 depending on the state.

Go to your local department, and say you want your record. You need to fill out forms saying you understand they will put every charge you have received and one saying you want you information disclosed to yourself and whomever you give that paperwork to. Just say you want a back round check take money cause it will cost you some money don't know on how much cause it differs from county to county and state to state
