They believe that God had a creator, a series of gods with no ultimate sourse.

They have not heard of St Thomas Aquinas:

Nature of the Trinity
Aquinas argued that God, while perfectly united, is also perfectly described by three interrelated persons. These three persons (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) are constituted by their relations within the essence of God. The Father generates the Son (or the Word) by the relation of self-awareness. This eternal generation then produces an eternal Spirit "who enjoys the divine nature as the Love of God, the Love of the Father for the Word."

This Trinity does not exist in separation from the world. On the contrary, the Trinity serves to communicate God's self and God's goodness to human beings. This takes place through the Incarnation of the Word in the person of Jesus Christ and through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit (indeed, the very essence of the Trinity itself) within those who have experienced salvation by God .

They believe eleven men claim to have seen the original golden tablets on which The Book of Mormon was given to Joseph Smith.
But most of them took back their statements."

They left the Church .

The only Apostle who renounced Christ's testimony hanged himself. The others were all martyrs for Him.

They do not understand:
The LDS faith came out of Protestantism which came out of Catholicism.

Everyone is already on the path to Godhood because we are children of God. We are made in His image. If you look all around you, you see how children grow up to resemble their parents and engage in similar activities. Obviously, we are all very young children in comparison to God, and no one will take His place. Oh, and for the person who keeps saying polygamy will exist in heaven - maybe what will really happen is something called the law of compensation - and everyone who has ever died in the world's history before being married or to their eternal companion will get someone of their very own, and everyone will be so delighted with their eternal companion that people will stop talking about polygamy altogether (which based on my research, was only a temporary principle to cover the potential leaders lost in the Civil War). We have the whole Millennium to worry about getting family connections fixed. Have a happy day, and I send you a gummy bear.

We believe it is possible - like daisy said, it will take LOTS of time...it's not just going to happen when we die. Also, those who will be considered and go on to perfection and godhood must first attain exaltation in the highest degree of glory in the Celestial Kingdom, we don't believe every "mormon" is going to become a god..also, a man cannot attain godhood without being eternally married to his wife and she will be a goddess with him.
We do not believe we will EVER be higher up or above our God. He is our God forever. We believe our Heavenly Father was a man once, lived a mortal live, gained exaltation and eventually attained perfection and godhood. We believe life is an eternal round and will keep going and going but of course we cannot grasp the concept of "forever" or "eternity".
We don't believe we will ever take the place of God, he will always be our God.

Mormons don't believe they will ever be equal to God, but that they can be gods/godesses. This is the case because they believe we can become perfect (as we have been commanded to become), and that we can continue to progress in eternity. If all the precepts and ordinances are complete, then as husband and wife you can also continue to increase your family - meaning have spiritual children. Because of this, having spiritual children, you are in essence a god, acting similar to God in the creation aspect. However, God, the Eternal Father, Father of Christ, will always have more glory and will always be our Father. Hope this makes sense. That's about as straight up as I can be.

Yes, they do think that. I live in Utah and have many Mormon friends and co-workers so I know. It's ridiculous, but oh well. Every Mormon tries so hard to be God-like and their parents and church expects them to be but of coarse they're human so they can't live up to those expectations, at the same time they're being pressured by the church cause they want to become a God of their own world, Kind of explains why Utah has one of the biggest teen suicide rates in the country.....Oh and Women cannot become Goddesses, they are eternally pregnant in heaven and men are polygamous.

Yes, they do, You will get to have you own planet/world. If your a guy you will get to have many wives, because the LDS believe there will be more righteous women then men in "heaven". This is a little tidbit that the missionaries won't tell you. Wasn't Satan kicked out of heaven for wanting to be a God?

We believe it's a possibility for some after going through like eons and eons of spiritual growth and perfection. It's certainly not going to happen to anyone anytime soon.

If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;

Men, yes
Women, NO
women are only allowed to live eternally if their husband here on earth decides that they were good enough to spend eternity with him once he becomes a God. She would then be allowed the privilege of being perpetually pregnant with his spirtual children whom will populate the new planet that her husband now God was given to rule over.

Nice little fantacy for a man, interesting life of perpetual back aches and labor pains for women. Sounds a bit to much like Mohammaads promise of 40 virgins for men upon death for the cause of Islam.
