We got thrown out of church for having sex before communion. They said that we were blocking the isle.

I would imagine that it would be appropriate for any Orthodox Christian to abstain from sex prior to Sunday service. While there is nothing forbidding abstinence from sex on Saturdays, such an idea is merely an old wives' tale.
