He would look at them confusedly because none of them are written in aramaic.
Hey Christians... you realize, of course, that the KJV version of the bible was commissioned by King James to be written and stylized in the prose of the day, and it was the first english translation, so that it would sound good? The KJV is actually a highly inaccurate translation when compared against the oldest known biblical scripts. Fundies don't like to admit that because if they believe that, then they have to admit they were wrong about the bible being the unerring word of god.
Take away your emotional tie from it and think about it logically for a second before you thumbs down...

I'm currently doing a study of historicall accuracy and translation. The english translations are better preserved adn in better agreement than I'd expected going into my study. I think there are certianlly many human aspects woven into the writing and translations, but overall the main tennants are preserved.
The bible is an old and well scrutinized document. I do wish that a truly new translation using the best and oldest source documents would be made.
What would Jesus think of the documents we use? I'm sure he would abhore any preversions, but the documents can still guide people who seek purpose to do the soul searching they need for widsom to be given to them to correctly apply teachings.

Honestly I don't know. I think their are a couple of versions out there like the Message Bible he would not like. I think he would endorse for lack of a better term the KJV, The new American Standard Bible and maybe the NIV. The thing about Bibles is people keep changing it. The majority of the Bibles are thought for thought translations meaning what the person writing thinks the verse means. The KJV and THE NASB are the only word for word translations that I know about. The NIV is a Dynamic Thought which is a combo of the two. Just my opinion.

I'm pretty sure he was impressed with the scripture he had which was much of what we have today he fufilled prophesies and didnt seem to complain about it. Jesus is God and is in agreement with the word of God and all of the scripture we have today are in agreement with God's previous scripture. Anything that is not in agreement with God's word such as the Qu'ran he has a problem with.

He would be suing for a royalty on each copy. That's a big IF though, because he didn't exist, and he would lose his case. Maybe he could get Paris Hilton's lawyer to work the case.

Jesus confirmed the Old Testament. And He authorized the people to tell the New Testament. I am pretty confident that He has overseen the process and would be happy with the result. : )

I actually like how you put the plural at the end of that. The Bibles that are currently circulating have been twisted and some words have been changed around.
The Qur'an however, is still found in its original writing, so there can be no disparity between the original and any new writings.

the Bible is still the same as they had then. unless you get the ones that are written so they are more easily understood. or the ones where people pick and choose what they want from it and forget the rest. that upsets him of course.
