I believe so. A liver can regenerate itself, however, if someone is ill enough to need a transplant, the bigger question is if the person can tolerate the transplant.

Yes. A liver can lose 50% of itself and still have the ability to regenerate.

Theoretical.yes,but practically not easy.For explained this,start from living liver transplant.Most case happen the Dona were parents of recipient (Smaller size children.),and adult to adult is very unusual.Living liver trans plant need much higher tech ,each liver has one set of blood vessel and duct and to separate to two set and the size to fit is very difficulty.That is the reason so far liver from die ding people is not give to two people as I know.
