my uncle is trying to quit smoking cigarettes so is using a patch. is it safe to smoke a joint while wearing a nicotene patch? serious answers only plz...

There is no nicotine in pot so I wouldn't see a problem. The only thing to avoid while on the patch is nicotine so you don't OD on it. Just a thought though......and I smoke so I'm not judging ok.......inhaling any kind of smoke into yor lungs is bad. Nicotine alone is not what will kill you, it's the carbon minoxide from the smoke which is in pot too that hardens your arteries and makes you more likely to get lung cancer, heart disease, strokes, etc. Just a thought. I'm not anti-pot, I think it should be legal.
Just tell him to avoid anything with nicotine(cigs, nic gum, etc) and he'll be fine.

I,m not a physician but, marijuana contains nicotine so I would suggest that it would be much like smoking a cigarette while using the patch which can give you a nicotined overdose. Don't be a dope, if he is gonna smoke anything take the patch off for awhile during & after. Kinda defeats the purpose doesnt it?
I'm pretty sure there is some nicotine in pot.

I'm going to answer the question you asked. Yes it is okay to wear a nicotine patch and smoke weed. It will definitely help calm his nerves. I always want a cig after I get high but that's just me. Good times

It's going to hurt him if that is what you are asking. But it's not going to help him quit smoking because he is still smoking something and also when he gets high he might start smoking cigarettes out of habit.

haha- SERIOUSLY, have him try it and tell us what happens! Marijuana doesn't have the added ingredient of nicotene, so he should be Ok!

Yes, it is about the same as being a tobacco smoker and pot smoker at the same time.
