Christians will say that Jesus was God, but they forget that he Had a man side with and independent and free will... and since the one whom was tortured and died is the man side... it makes him tequnically the savior not God.
And even if we said salvation is shared between God and man it still Contradicts the old testament which states
Isa 43:11 I even I am the LORD; and beside, me there is no savior.
Hos 13:4 there is no savior beside me.

Rofl, you said at the top. Why do Christians claim Jesus is the Savior when the bible says there is no savior besides God? Then only a few words away you say that Jesus by being tortured as man etc technically makes Him Savior. Do you realize the contradiction of terms? First you say He isn't then you say He is.
My question is this. Are you Mormon or JW?
What about when Jesus asks His disciples, "Who do you say that I am?" What does He say? Why were the Jews angry with Jesus when He said he was the son of God? You really need to get away from non biblical teachings.
PS, nice to meet you Stacey. =) hehe

That's why we say Muslims MISSED the connection!
True, the OT clearly teaches that only God is Saviour.
Thus, if NT teaches that Jesus is also Saviour, and there can only be one Saviour, then it logically means that either Jesus is God, or alse that He is a lunatic who claimed to be God. The latter idea is simply unable to stand scrutiny. Thus, even if it makes us wonder how it can be so, yet the Bible clearly teaches that in the incarnation, God became man and died for our sins on the cross.

Jesus = God the Son, so He's God too, part of the Holy Trinity yah...Which I find it confusing too, even though I am a Christian. Haha!
Jesus is both Man and God. He's the Son of God, that tells us He is God. Because He was conceived by Mary, and that gives Him the human side of Him.
Like what you said, Jesus died for our Sins, and that makes Him our Saviour.
And Bible is written by witnesses of that time and what are written are passed down from generation to generations.

Can you explain this passage then?
Acts chapter 4
10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.
11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.
12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

1. Jesus said that He would send the comforter to us (John 16:7), but He also said the Father would send the comforter (John 14:26).
2. The Father alone can draw men to God (John 6:44), yet Jesus said He would draw all men (John 12:32).
3. Jesus will raise up all believers in the last day (John 6:40), yet God the Father quickens (gives life to) the dead and will raise us up (Romans 4:17; I Corinthians 6:14).
4. Christ is our sanctifier (Ephesians 5:26), yet the Father sanctifies us (Jude 1).
Jesus has a dual nature. He is both Spirit and flesh, God and man, Father and Son.

God made The Sacrifice of Jesus the last chance for mankind to have a way to gain Salvation. It is The Blood of Christ that pays the sin debt of all of mankind, past, present, and future. If your sin debt had not been paid there would be no way for you to come to God and receive His free gift of Salvation.
Jesus paid The Price.... But it is still God you must go to, to receive Salvation. You must submit yourself to Christ first before you go to God. If God accepts you then you are saved... so... God is The Savior.... but Christ is your Master.

Both Books are in the OLD Testament. Jesus had not died and save us yet. In the New Testament you will read in Romans and throughout many times, he is our SAVIOR.

Believe the Old Testament it is 999.
Read the New Testament and find out what Jesus have been saying about himself and compare it to what His disciples and his present followers are saying saying who he is..then think... who would you believe? Jesus or his followers?
