It is poking out of the front of my gum towards my cheek! How much should it cost to have it extracted?

My Uncle Clem had a wisdom tooth that came in UPSIDE DOWN! He used the roots to punch holes in notebook paper so I could put it in my 3 ring binder... He was a great guy!

I work for an oral surgeon i can tell you that it is a VERY common condition. You should have it removed because wisdom teeth are prone to infection. It could cost about 600 dollars to get it removed depending on whether you are getting general anesthesia or local and how your insurance handles this type of procedure. Also, wisdom teeth that are outside of the gum are generally easier to remove, so you should't experience too much discomfort afterwards.

it should be a simple exraction but wisdom teeth have longer deeper roots so you may need to be put to sleep -in this area about $100 but check your area for free dental at your local hospitals if you are low income
