There are idiots out there that blew up trains, bombed clincs and killed millions.

I don't want to look like someone who hates religion but you don't make a good argument for believing in something.

What is the definition of God? I think in EVERY religion, you could define God as Life, or Creation. I think all religions agree that God is the source of life and the creator of the universe in a way.

Bombing a clinic, blowing up a train, killing a human being - these are the opposites of creation. These are opposites of what God (call it Jesus, Allah, Buddha, whatever) is. Just the way the good can not be source of evil, or light can not be source of darkness, or hope can not be the source of despair - God, that is creation and life, can never be the source of killing, bombing, destroying.

Who doesnt make a good arguement - the real GOD/JESUS (creator and The Living Word) doesnt ask you to kill in his name or mame and injure- that certainly isnt christianity or catholisism or Jewish or any FAITH that believes that Jesus Christ is the son of God born to a virgin and died on the cross and was resurrected 3 days later and sits at the right hand of God in Heaven. Islams God is not in the same context as their bible states different things - but some extremists who are stupid interpret the word of their god that he is asking to kill - IF their god was the creator of this earth, and of mankind then he wouldnt want us to be blowing up the earth in his name -.

anyone who says they are doing it for their God is speaking crap - its just an excuse and not what FAITH is all about

so in that i would lay my life down for my living God - and stand up for him, as i know who he is, and what HE is worth- but that doesnt mean i'd go bombing and killing innocent people : )

God doesnt like destruction..he sent prophets to make peace and teach people how to get along and love each other, so the guys who are killing innocent people obviously have no God even if they say they do. Its not about what you say, Its about what you do. The only way to go for God is love, faith and praying.

I believe in one God. I believe in Jesus. I believe in love. I don't believe my God would ever ask me to do something which would kill as he asks me to love my neighbour.

Islam and other religions do not preach these crimes either. It is by ignorance that hatred of each other is born. Let us learn from and love one another.

All my God ever ask anyone to do was to try our best to love everyone all of the time.

Not much harm in that.

Love and blessings Don

I would go as far as my God ask me too but I would have to stop and question Him if he asked me to commit such atrocities. Being a good, gracious, merciful Savior, he would not ask this in his name.

As for as I could. Faith Is so real to me and is the only thing that keeps me going.

The people that committed those crimes, obviously didn't have God...the Real God anyway...and to answer your question, I would lay down my life and die for my God...

Don't know. God's never put me to that test.
If 'He' asked me to commit atrocities, I would doubt my sanity as God would never do that.
