My older sister always thinks so. She takes great risks and spends all her money on her gut feelings. She says that she can "size up" and judge a person in 6 seconds.
When she is faced with a problem that requires fixing something or buying (getting) a new one, she always seem to decide in 6 seconds that she throw it out and get a new one (whatever).
She has gone through 3 husbands, about 16 cars, 14 vacuum cleaners, and about a 100 internet boy friends.
I love her dearly, but she drives me crazy with her gut feelings and he attitude about intuition.
Last week, a friend of hers got a flat tire. My sister called a mechanic and had him pick up her car (we live in small town); any way he picked up her car and she instructed him to give her all new tires. He told her that her tires were like brand new. But, she said her intuition told her that she needed new tires.
(As you might have guessed, her gut feelings and intuition are driving me crazy. Cause, I usually have to bail her out, when she runs out of money. But, I still love her, and I know not to try and change her.)

You gut feelings and intuition convince you that you are right by forcing you to make a decision before your brain has time for a rational choice. Having a gut feeling about a creepy stranger could save you from being attacked. Basing your lifestyle and beliefs on gut feelings is just dumb if you ask me.

No, it doesnt. But it can... I usually go with gut instincts...
And, for the record, tuition is what you pay in order to learn at school. INTUTION was the word you were looking for...
Your insticts will never fail you - until you try to breath under water. And people pay tution to go to private schools - any schools, not just college.

While I don't believe that intuition or gut instincts are paranormal, I do feel that they are often right. However, they can be wrong too, it is your instincts that tell you to eat at mcdonalds because the food is yummy and cheap and that is certainly a bad idea.

Always check the facts before relying on your gut feeling or intuition, but make sure to always check you gut feelingor intuition before relying on only the facts.

not necessarily, but it DOEs tell you to take a good hard look at the situation and acknowledge the feeling as valid. Most of the time if you follow your instincts, you will be satisfied with the outcome.

A "gut feeling" is usually your body reacting on it's own to warn you. It is always a good idea to pay attention to these feelings.

Nope. It seems that way, but only because you base that feeling on facts that you see around you. That makes you right some of the time.

Always go with that gut feeling, and when in doubt don't.

Usually I think you are. Sometimes I think about someone and the phone rings or i get an email from that person. It freaks me out but it happens all the time to me.
