all the churches get together and pray the war in Iraq would stop?
Saving all those young men from dieing. Wouldn't that be better than praying for anything else like arthritis in old people.
Give young people a chance to get old and get arthritis.

You guys are really cold. They didn't chose to be there. The government sent them over there. Your so self righteous.

That would work if all the churches were really believing that...the problem is that there is always an unbeliever in churches that will hinder such prayers. Also this whole war in Iraq thing is something that has to happen...it is just another step closer to the coming of the Lord..

By the way, I agree with you. It is sad that our young men and women are over there saraficing their lives and time like that.

Prayer is to only edify the Lord and in all his Glory. It's not about us. God is a jealous God and He is our creator. Our plan for our life is or, should I say; already has been designed before we were born. Those boys and girls there in War are all God's creation and children. If he allows our prayer to enter his kingdom to praise him then I do believe he will hear and grant all prayers for us. They did send the Vietnam vets home. Hallelujah! That is the highest praise.

There is a reason for eveything. A prayer for an O.D'd guy in the emergency room. 1. He lives, gets stoned a week later, runs a stop sign, kills someone. Or 2. He dies, and his organs save six lives. Glad it's not my choices to make. Thank God.

Why would the churches have to get together to pray? Can't people pray alone?

LOL that's what I thought! It apparently doesn't work,

Oh, she left one word out: "Everything imaginary can be cured by prayer".

The war in Iraq is unfortunately very real, and therefor prayer is useless in resolving it.

Because they want the war to continue

Everything can be cured by prayer as long as it is according to God's will. We can not tell God what to do.

don't pray - it's a waste of time. try drinking instead, if your drunk all the time who in the hell cares about the real world! i think god and the bible are a load of BS! my own thought is the bible is just like a harry potter book from a long time ago and now people think it's real.

they're wrong.

and remember, those young men that are over there dying, chose to be over there dying. so dont you think that seeing how they chose to be in the military, they are doing something they wanted to do?
