I'm planning a family reunion in Las vegas and would like to know shows for kids or just family shows other than Circus Circus shows...Cirque du Soliel??

As much as I love Cirque, I think most kids would be bored by it... of course it depends on the age of the kids... the younger they are, the less likely they are to appreciate a Cirque production (especially considering the ticket prices).

For younger children I recommend Mac King at Harrah's, Ronn Lucas at the Aladdin, Dirk Arthur at the Tropicana, or the Comedy Pet Theatre at the Aladdin. Not only are these shows kid-friendly, they are also reasonably priced. Lance Burton at the Monte Carlo is also a good bet, but he is pricey.

For tweens and teens, I would say Mystere at the Treasure Island is the best Cirque option, but be advised the lowest ticket price is something like 80 bucks.

Other fun things for kids include the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay, the Secret Garden at the Mirage, the Mall level at Excalibur (free shows happen throughout the day), the arcade at the Luxor, the theme park at Circus Circus, and the roller coasters (NYNY, Sahara, Stratosphere).

Cirque du Soliel has very few kid friendly shows (if any) in my opinion. Most of them are what is considered a "Vegas Show". w/nudity and sexual themes. Maybe the Love show based on the Beatles, but even that is questionable. Also consider the price. Tickets are usually over $100. Personally, I wouldn't take anyone to Vegas that wasn't at least 18. There are things to do, but they are fewer are farther between that what it is for adults. But thats me. Good Luck.

Cirque 's are good my daughter( 12 but was 10 when I first took her) loves them and my son is 10 he loves the music from KA. Kids under 5 may not be okay at one .
Rather then a show just walking around seeing things may be better. The rain at Aladin, the Forum has lots to offer, Mirage has some good choices too. Check out a visitor web site or get a book on Vegas with kids.

Vegas is becoming an extremely family friendly town. Look up their chamber of commerce on the internet and I'm sure you'll find tons of kid-friendly entertainment.

Excalibur has a dinner show where there are lance and sword fights with merlin, etc. each section gets assigned a knight and whoever cheers the loudest their knight wins!
