I got some BBQ from a local restaurant in Denver (outside of airport).

Not sure if it will make it through security but if you can have it frozen, you will have a better chance. BBQ is a solid in my book but I bet someone at the TSA will think it is a liquid.

If you do take it, please pack it very well so that it does not make the entire plane smell like BBQ. There's not many things worse than having to fly several hours smelling someone else's food.

I don't think its allowed, but i know a bloke who wanted to take food on board with him so he put it in a box and wrapped it like a birthday present and got through fine....don't know if that will help you.

i sincerly doubt that the airline will allow you to board with food purchased outside of the airport. you better eat fast or you will be putting it in the garbage!
