Use a ponytail holder big enough to fit around your wrist, anything smaller will be hard to get tight enough. Put your hair up in a regular ponytail, but the last time don't pull it all the way through.

The loop of hair will make the poof when you spread it out. It takes a ittle practice to get it right because the ponytail has to be tight right up until the last loop and it can be hard to get out because the loop gets kind of tangly, but it's cute and you don't have the ponytail flopping in your face.

Good luck!

I wear my hair like this often & Its kind of confusing but i will try & explain it the best I can. First you tease the back of your hair where you want the poof to be & then when you gather your hair together back in a pony tail push the pony tail up on your head & secure with your pony tail holder. I hope this helps! Good Luck :)

LOL...funny way of asking it. I think you mean that you want the ponytail to look full of body and not flat. If you have really straight and thin hair, chances are that the ponytail will look flat from the side. But if you start with puffy and full hair, your ponytail will look big from the side. My hair is kind of straight but wavy if I use mousse. I just bend over so that my hair is hanging and spray hairspray all over. Then, when I put it on a ponytail, it will have some type of "poof" as you call it.

I always put mine in a ponytail, but then at the end just not pull it through all the way so the ends are tucked under. If that is what you mean. Kind of like just making it a loop, but you can end the loop so the ends are facing up and it will give it more character.

When you get to the last twist on the tie, just don't pull your hair all the way through. If you need better instructions, let me know. My step-daughter wears her hair like that all the time.

you put your hair in a loose pontail. then you make a hole right above the ponytail holder. then you put the ponytail through the hole and pull it tight. hope this helps.
