The key word is prime are we talking be for Buster Douglas showed everyone how to beat Mike Tyson Tim Weatherspoon was an animal Mike Ty sons speed would be a big factor Tim Weatherspoons power in his right hand would have been a big problem for Mike because when he gets hurt he does not come back somewhere along in the fight I find it hard to believe that Tim would not land that right hand with that said one right hand is not enough to keep Mike Tyson off of you the Tyson be for the Buster Douglas fight Tyson by KO in the 8th round

Definitely Tyson . Tyson is just too strong and can get inside Witherspoon to punish him and puts him away in the 4th round. The only way Witherspoon can win is to successfully tie him up and frustrate Tyson or bore him to death.

In their primes I'd take Tyson by KO round 10.

Young Mike had great defense and had good power throwing short hooks from both sides, especially up close where most taller fighters couldnt get extended and keep him outside...very few if any modern heavyweights could keep it together in a fight where they get clocked repeatedly (for one of all time best knockdown dragouts look up Ron Lyle vs. Big George in Vegas, I believe 7 rounds and 12 knockdowns) or even fight 15 rounders punching and taking the whole way...that said, my pick would be young Mike inside of 8 in a k.o., left hook... right hook ...goodnight...

I think Mike wins on a close decision.Witherspoon has the strength and skill to give Mike problems, but Mike's quicker hands would be the difference. If the fight was fifteen rounds, however, it would be a very narrow verdict.
