Ahh, must feel good for the dog. But, I would like to advise anybody not to let their dog stick their faces out of a vehicles window. This could be very unsafe for the animal. I know it may seem cruel, but actually it's not. It's safer to keep your dogs face in the car so nothing will fly into their face or eyes and they won't be injured. Talk to your vet if you need further info.

it is because of the reactions in the eyes and ears. When the dog gets blown on 1 spot it get uncomfortable, but combined with both the dog gets a tingling feeling, like when humans are on drugs but this is short term and it acts as a stimulant. When they get out of the car they are all hyper and run arround alot. thats why.

a dog is happy to put his face out of the car window because a dogs memories quite often revolve around smells which it gets from the cars open window. being blown in the face is like your work colleague standing chest to chest with you to discuss the weather when the've just eaten garlic bread and you hav'nt.

I put "doggie goggles" on my boys and they stick their heads out the sun roof. I like when their cheeks flap in the wind. When I blow in my boys faces it's usually after a good home cooked meal so they try and savor every garlic and onion taste.

PS just kidding about the goggles! Though I'm sure they are available somewhere!

MY dog doesn't exactly stick his head out of the window, he's content staring. He sits shotgun and stares out the window. Even if I have the window rolled down, he'll still stare and nothing is funnier than seeing a boxer sitting shotgun staring at you

A dogs sense of smell is 40 times better than a humans. He is loving the smell of neighborhood dogs, food, and other dog likes.

Same as you would'nt like some person who is huge compared to you suddenly blowing in your face. Bet you'd hate it if someone did it to you, and you'd gladly stick your head out a window just like your pooch!

My dogs also like to sit in front of a fan. Maybe they like the wind all over their face and not just in one spot.
