A beautiful red and white table cloth and napkins with hearts would certainly cheer up the room for the upcoming holiday.

A lovely picture frame for Valentines Day could be a wonderful craft project holding a photo of you and the love of your life.

Red placemats adorned with hearts would be a lovely addition to add beneath your decorations on any table or curio.

And this can be repeated for St Patrick's day using shammrocks, clovers, gold coins

lol what do you mean by "cheezy looking". that sounds crazy!

but, for valentines day, just get some paper hearts that you can hang on the wall. and get some of those pink and red paper strings(you know...they look like paper noodles.) and set them in the window. and at a table, get some valentines day mats to put on them. and in the center of the table, get a basket with some chocolates in them with a mini teddy bear. you can decorate stuff in plenty of ways. all it takes is your creativity and your imagination....some glitter, cute accessories,....you just have to be creative.

I don't know where you live but you might want to try your local Wishing Well. They carry great decorations at a great price. For example there is this one mardi gras mask that looks like a cat and costs at least $15-$20, though it only costs $4. And none of the stuff is cheesy looking. That's how I'm throwing my reunion skating party. Hope this information finds you well!

anything home made is never cheezy. cut out hearts from red construction paper and paper doilies. bake some cupcakes and place them on a pretty paper plate. most of all just use your imagination.
