Try taxact.com. They are the only ones offering free tax preparation and e-filing FREE for every body. Other sites put limit on the income, age, etc. Check them out here

Don't know about your State taxes, I live in CA, they have a site for us to file under e-file.CA.Gov. But Federal taxes, usually have a lot of places to file for free, just go on line to the Fed site and it will show you a list of places to file for free if your income is less than a certain amount. I did mine this way this year, and both were free for me. Try your local Kentucky Government site for your State maybe. Good luck

If you have any State Farm services (insurance, credit card, bank account, etc.) you can file free with turbo tax. Go to www.statefarm.com register with them to open an online account (free). You will have to enter the policy or account number for this and then sign out, go back in 24 - 48 hrs and sign in, you should have a link on the left hand side to file for free with turbotax. This is what I did.

The IRS.gov free file page will give you the information for which you are looking. I usually use TaxAct or Turbo Tax.

Check the validity of this offer, but if you make less than $52k then you can file for free.
