You do the math. For the sake of amusement, let's say 1 in 1000 fall for an email based scam. Crook sends out 10,000 emails in a week. 10 people fall for it at 200$ a pop. That's 2,000$ a week. I don't make that in a MONTH.

They must be misguided somehow. Some of the cons I've heard of; the guys must have been geniuses or something. They probably could get a real high paying job if they would put some of that effort into real work. Or maybe they're not misguided but instead are just scared they won't make it, or maybe they're just lazy. Who knows!?

They`re not wasting their efforts if they are able to make one big score or steal someones identity.
Think about it ,A couple of hundred dollars for 1/2 hours work .
The jails are too filled to house them so they are let right out .

For every thousands of people who never fall for it, it only takes one to hit it big. "There's a sucker born every minute..."
