Iv`e just got a job promotion hope my dad knows an he`s proud of me he passed away 2yrs ago

Yes I do. We inevitably have a human body but we also have a spirit which makes us individual and unique. I am not Christian in the strictest sense of the word but I do believe that our spirit is separate from the earthly body and that this spirit returns to some type of existence in the afterlife. I don't know if this helps at all but I wish you well.

i don't believe in an afterlife - even tho my mum died about 9 years ago - all the family talk about her and how she would have felt in any situation - she will always have her rightful place in my life and i think you are right to think of your dad that way
he would be proud of you

He sure will know and be looking down upon you and yours telling all how proud he is of you for sure - I am a firm believer in this so congratulations to you on your new job and good on your dad for seeing you through it.

(^^,) he knows... when a person pass away, they don't just leave.. they remain in their loved ones' heart... and their heart stays close to the ones they love... So, yes, he knows...
