No you will not be able to claim her. If she was onkly disabled in November and you have most responsibility for her at this point you wont be able to this year if you take care of her for more than 6 months this year then you will be able to claim in her on Next years Taxes.

not for 2006, unless you provided over 50% of her support & she was a full time student

Yes for 2007 -- we have a client that claims his retarded daughter and she is in her 40s. She receives most of her support from her parents

P files her own return on the couple of $1000 she earns, not claiming herself, but B & J claim her as a dependant every year.

Did your daughter comprehend the undesirable structure that your minivan became in even as she offered it? in my opinion, i does not have charged an in intensity kin member something for a foul operating motor vehicle. i'd have in basic terms given her the van....yet informed her that it became not operating nicely and may choose some significant artwork. may the $800.00 that she gave you fix or a minimum of help fix the motor vehicle? if so, i'd provide the money back to her. on the different aspect, your daughter is being very infantile not speaking with you over the minivan. She should comprehend your monetary situation and comprehend that the money is significant by technique of you in the present day. i'd provide the money back to her as a peace providing and word what takes position.

Yes, providing you have proof that you have been providing for her care and that she lives with you. I am sure this is a difficult time for your daughter and you. I hope that you have filed for social security benefits for her as well. God speed!
