I am going on a cruise in two weeks with work; we are taking Royal Caribbean Cruise from Miami to the Bahamas. Has anyone taken this cruise or any cruise for that matter? How was it? Any tips that may help me have a good time? Anything you would have done differently?

You will have a blast! ALL FOOD ALL THE TIME so get ready to eat! Get off the ship in Nassua and look for men giving tours around the island. Don't go with any of the ones offered by the ship. Compare prices and let one of them take you. They have to feed their families too , and you get the real picture when you do it this way. The first thing you will realize is their english accent has a great quility to it. Everyone on the island has acess to the same great education and the difference is amazing. At the port ther are shops set up in a carnival atmosphere with locals selling their wares. This is where you SHOP!
If you have a tendency to be motion sick, call your dr. and ask for a scopolomine patch . You will be happy to have it. Put it on four hrs before you leave and its good for 3 days. You'll forget you have it on!
Take two nice outfits for dinners are more formal , but not as dressy as they used to be. Bring your suit, shorts and t-shirts a pair of flip flops or sandels are all you will need except for dinner.
Get involved in the adult games, they are a BLAST! Yes , you will make a fool of yourself but the rest of the ship is too so who cares?
Most Important !!!! Wash your hands everychance you get and keep your hands off door knobs and handrails. Crusie ships are a enclosed enviroment and as such a great place to grow cold and flu germs. Is it still worth the risk of going even if you come home and get a cold? You Bet Your A#$

Whats the name of the ship? How long are you going for? I have been on 9 cruises with RCCL and enjoyed every single one but the Adventure of the Seas this past October. And it had nothing to do with the ship itself, just way to many Puerto Ricans for me. I have always had a blast, Im 28, people are very friendly and you wont have time to do everything on the ship.
