calamine lotion is great for calming and soothing skin complaint so is E45 but some people can be allergic to lanolin which is one of the ingredients in it.

You can buy hydrochorizone over the counter in the chemist as well, which is great for most things

Gold Bond Medicated Powder really works for friction rash, heat rash and all sorts of stuff. My fiance uses it when he gets heat rashes from working outside.

You can get it at any store like Target, Wallmart, CVS, Wallgreens etc.

I won't ask unless you're a Carpet Fitter!!! Try putting Savlon/Vaseline on, keep in moist.
