DOES ANY ONE KNOW THE PROPER COOKING TIME AND TEMP FOR A CORNISH GAME HEN? MY HUSBAND DOESNT LIKE ALL THE FANCY COOKING AND JUST WANTS THE GAME HEN WITH POTATOES! ALL I CAN FIND IS RECIPES WITH ALL THE WEIRD SAUCES AND RICE! AND THEY DONT EVEN GIVE SAFE COOKING TIMES AND TEMPS! DO YOU KNOW! PLEASE HELP DONT WANT TO SCREW UP DINNER! LOL. THANKS

the recipes i have say 15 minutes in preheated 425F oven, and then another 30 minutes at 350F - you're going for an internal temperature of 180F.

It should take about an hour to bake a cornish hen at 350 degrees, without stuffing. If you stuff it, add 15 minutes. If you split them in half and roast them that way, it will take about 45 minutes.

Bake in Preheated oven for one hour-fifteen minutes at 325 Degrees, basting every five minutes with theJuices. The last 15 minutes keep the bird wet with the juice and turn on the Broiler element to brown, when golden brown take them bird out.

For 1 lb hens, bake at 350 for about 30 minutes.
