It seems to me that most people who run a pirated version of Matlab have legal access to it at work or school but they just want a copy so they can do some work at home.

Anyway, putting legal/moral issues aside, if your version works on your system now, I don't see why it shouldn't work on Vista barring any compatibility problems. Luckily, other users are reporting that Matlab works with Vista (see link).

I hope not.

I would be really surprised. MatLab doesnt drink the Microsoft coolaid, so their program probably needs a serious overhaul before it will run on the next MS platform. I dont even know if matlab runs native on the MacBook, and that platform has been out for a while now.

Even if it did run, its an awesome product and someone poured a lot of blood sweat and tears into it. Its a tool built with love. Stealing it isnt right. Use Photon (Eclipse-Fortran) if you need a nice gui open mathematic development platform. Give matlab respect, and just dont go stealing it.

You can do anything on a computer, you just need to either spend money for a crack, download a cracked version of whatever you want to run, or learn programming and crack the thing yourself.
