A person was on probation in Grant County Indiana. They were arrested in Wayne County and sentenced to 2 yrs, because of this arrest there was a warrant for Probation Violation in Grant County issued. Can the two years and the time for the probation violation be ran together and how do they make that happen?

The violation of probation and the offense in Wayne County are two seperate issues.

Convicted and serving time in Wayne County will finish at which time the person will go before the Grant County Court to answer for the parole violation!

Best wishes!

They can be combined, but that is going to be up to the prosecuting attorney and the court in Grant County. The best way to start is to get in touch with the attorney who represents the person.
