No, he was wrong for so many things. In particular, the holocaust was one of the most immoral acts of all time, and Hitler deserved the biggest part of the blame for it.

This is to all those condescending jerks writing "do your own homework" how do you know her homework didn't involve polling opinions from others? Stop picking on kids and go find something useful to post about.

I believe that Hitler was not right for his actions. He was a socialist and he terrorized others into action with murder and atrocities. Only nutters would ever state that Hilter was right.

The points that you won't hear from most people is regarding the intentions behind his actions. Germany was a mess and his *initial* desires and causes were good. He wanted to improve his country and rid them of suffering. In Mein Kampf he details his entire journey to what he became. This is a huge SURPRISE to most but at the beginning of his political formation he was greatly insulted by antisemitics and he actually got into a fight at a work site protecting an insulted Jew. His degrade to what he became was a severe downward spiral of ego, power, and mob mentality.

This is not allowed to be spoken because it may be construed as casting Hitler in a favorable light. It is not saying anything good about the horrible dictator but it should be analyzed to prevent people like Hitler rising to power in the future.

Good luck on your assignment!

Hitler was a man that acquired power very quickly, and unfortunately it drove him mad. The nation of Germany was is such poor economic shape, even his insane ideas of social cleansing seemed like a good idea to the general public. Hitler had the potential to shape Germany into a great nation, but instead he chose to alienate the entire world and ultimately destroy the country he loved so much.

Hitler was very clever.

He perfectly convinced the Germans that his politics and ideology was exactly what they need.

In a way, we can consider that his actions were right for him and his political success.

On the other hand, his actions, though daring and quite effective, leaded to the fall of Germany and he is responsible for the death of million of people, which includes a lot of Germans.

Hitler was wrong in almost everything he did. He belived in the supremecy of the state over the individual. He used the bankrupt theory of social darwinisim to justify his racial programs that led to the hollicost. His command economy brought Germany to economic ruin and caused him to start wars to cover up that fact. Of all the evil people who came before or after him he alone holds a special place in history as it's most evil. Hitler brought his country to ruin. His policies insured the continuing exsistance of the evil USSR as they were one of the victors of WW2 and could not be ignored in the wars aftermath. Hitler was a classic example of what can happen to a nation when it's leaders belive that man can play God. Any comparision to Hitler and any world leader today can in no way be consisdered factual

Let's put Hitler in context. The worst thing he did was NOT the holocaust. I realize that's the politically correct answer, but frankly speaking, many more people died in world war 2 as a result of his attempt to establish a German empire (tens of millions) than in the camps (a few million).

Fundamentally, Hitler's challenge as a leader was to unite his people and to grow the German economy. There are good ways to do this and bad ways. He chose the bad way - the easy way - war and xenophobia.

Can't say that I can. He will definetly go down in history for being a genuis of destruction at it's highest mark. From invasion and overtakeing of the peacful,to uncivilized acts of in-human experiancements on the liveing to the perverted idea of the "perfect race". The extermination of a certain group is historical, read your bible and you'll see the jews practiced this act repeatedly. Not to confuse I agree with what he did nor do I praise your bible for it's records of the same events. That one man persuaded the most highly educated and most intellegent people in history to follow his twisted views and ideas and to put into action his destruction of any that opposed his reighn. His comparising of any modern day person is short sight tothe power this one person of destruction and vile impossed on man-kind. You can also contribute his persuasion to the introduction of Radio. The power to reach people and persuade them to his ideas. Compared to modern day media of how it's pumped on you until you give in.

No, I don't, but an interesting take on Hitler, is that the Treatie of Versaille which ended WWI, was what led to Hitler's Rise to power.

Ummm-hell no! He killed 6 million jews. Of course, the Nazis had a brilliant way of dealing with insurgents. When they were attacked by partisans, they rounded up everyone in the town. They then shot usually ten to twenty people at random. They then asked the people to turn in the insurgents. The people usually cooperated. If they did not, the Germans came back the next day.

Ok I think his actions were so wrong.

If this is for homework maybe your teacher wants you to really come up with your own conclusions, to make you think and analyze, all the answers that people are giving you are great but try to find out how you really feel towards the subject.

Good luck!
